WELCOME TO THE NEW WORLD

Across the known world, reaching to the 4 corners of the continent. beams of light fire into the sky, letting loose a torret of corruptive aura, akin to the sigils themselves, but infinitely worse. everyone in the world, all at once, fells like everything is being turned upside down, an intense overwhelming sense of vertigo as every sense screams that something is wrong, that up is down, creating a deep sinking feeling, as if any moment could be the one where all life begins to fall up, into the infinite sky.
The world's sense of reversal begins to manifest physically, as the ground raises, each major landmark can be seen in the distance, rising atop its own mountain, as the sea itself soon follows, the ocean draining into the void left by the world's grand shift. the gods watching from on high, as all of the land and sea trade places, leaving only the scattered islands of what was found. creating a continent sized lake of lost potential.

What is left of the world, unreversed, now threatened, as the very lake itself becoes corrupt, the waters almost shine beautifully, a faint glow, as the world becomes radioactive with dark aura. the world as was known before is gone, destroyed, with anything left forever facing the threat of being corrupted.

All is not lost....in the final moments, as the sense of the world begins to shift back to normal, as all of it's people begin to feel right again, settling into this reversed world, the vertigo gone and solid ground at their feet, the next breath they take in feels bigger, wider....something has grown....a boundary has been broken. each and every person feels something inside of them lost, as a pull threatens to drag them under the earth for a breif second....each person feels new life in their bodies, familiar, and whole....with Niala's power gone, there is no longer a being left to ressurect those who fall...their lives are their own....and death is now possible. the grip and pull they feel, is the afterlife, finally connected to them....waiting.

Along with true mortality, the first breath of the new world, brings the sense of new borders...with the land and ocean now reversed, the edge of the known map can now be ventured beyond, on foot. the world is bigger, and the air feels thin, as if its reaching out to greet the new limits.

Time Accelerates, Each Citizen watches as days pass by swifter than before, eventually it slows, the world has changed, the people have adapted, it feels as though months have already gone by, in the blink of an eye...
[There is no requirement to do so, but, if you would like it, feel free to adapt and alter your characters, to suit the time-skip....otherwise, Don't worry about it]

Since the Grand Corruption. much has changed...much of the resources of each land have been used to construct a new Dock, and Ships, to allow transport between the isles. what is now the region of Lake Niala, has become a civilization of the sea. it's people adapting quickly.

Though with the loss of some resources, a new one has appeared. a gigantic tree, in the center of the main intersection of Lescove, its leaves, shaped like diamonds, each, that glow faintly, becoming a beautiful beacon of light when the sun sets.
the roots of the tree grow fast, reinforcing some structures, smaller trees growing in the center of some individual's houses, but what is even more spectacular....the roots are extending, so far underground, that they uncurl, and regrow, on other islands entirely. plants, with diamond leaves, sprouting up, all over the Isles of Lake Niala.
Its unknown for now....but many are sure these leaves will serve a grand purpose. carefully harvested, to allow more to grow.

The Sun....how could anyone forget the Sun......especially, as there are two of them now...a second has seemed to appear in the sky, following closely behind its big brother, a tiny blue ball of light, always chasing the other...this little blue sun has offered much to the corrupted world. mostly, in the way of new beauty.
As the sun passes the horizon, there is a time, for around 20 minutes after sunset, when only the blue sun shines on the world...making the pinks and purples of the sunset, even more vibrant, and casting a dull, chilling blue light across everyting else. Making the corrupted water sparkle, and the glowing leaves shiver...
This is also the time, when all those with great power, all those with skills that can only be used once every 24 hours...this is when they feel their power return to them.
Because of its significance the people of the world have decided to give this time of day, a name, and have begun to call this, The Blue Moment.

Despite the changes, despite the world taking its steps into a new age.....Kehhaja still hasn't returned...her sister fights daily to keep the population of corrupted beasts down...Niala, rarely leaves her home....not yet adapting to her human form....and Nushubi....though she hasn't been seen, there are rumors of a monster in the northern mountains...
Urban legends have also begun....about how there was once a guardian at the first dot to be taken. they call him the Forgotten One....they say that he has the power to make people forget you even existed.....
This is only a legend, of course....its common knowledge to anyone, that the first dot was only ever meant as a test for the Citizens...to see if they would actually seek out and activate the sigils.....everybody knows that the First Dot, never had a Guardian.
